Discover Laval


From the Hotel Perier du Bignon, you will be ideally located for exploring Laval, its historic center and all its points of interest. We give you an appointment at the reception to find out all the good addresses or directly at the Laval tourist office.

 During your stopover in Laval, we suggest you take a tour of the Château de Laval, built on a rocky outcrop from the 11th century, above the river La Mayenne. We advise you to take a tour of Lactopôle , the Cité du Lait, a museum on milk and cheese, unique in its kind. For walks along the water, take a trip to the river stop, five minutes from the Hotel. You can rent motor boats without a license, pedal boats, canoes or bicycles for walking.

Sainte-Suzanne One of the most beautiful villages in France


Above the Erve Valley, the village of Sainte-Suzanne offers one of the most magnificent views over the Coëvrons and the forest of Charnie. This medieval city is nicknamed the 'Pearl of Maine' and has preserved many vestiges of its past.

Sheltered by ramparts dating from the 12th century, this walk is essential to discover the city. We will also advise you to stop in restaurants where Breton know-how is honoured.
